Driving While Intoxicated: It is important to hire an attorney that understands the laws and procedures in

dealing with DWI.  Mr. Twine has a wealth of knowledge and resources when it comes to DWI.  It is one of

the more complex crimes you can be accused of by the State of Texas.  With the growing number of

people living in the Austin area, which leads to congested roadways, and an increase in motor vehicle

related deaths, there has been a concentrated effort in combating intoxicated driving. You need an

attorney that can explain to you that a DWI has two parts.  There is the civil aspect and criminal aspect of

a DWI. The civil aspect deals with your drivers license, and goes through a process with the Texas

Department of Public Safety, known as the Administrative License Revocation or ALR.  It is to your

benefit to contact an attorney the moment you are released from jail so that you can understand the ALR

process and the timelines associated with that process. An attorney will help you navigate the criminal

process.  But a DWI Attorney will be able to explain the different aspects of a DWI investigation.  Mr.

Twine possesses knowledge in Field Sobriety Tests, breath tests, and blood tests.  He has unique

perspective, because as a paralegal for a prominent DWI attorney, he typically was the person who

analyzed the investigative process to assist attorneys.  From this experience, Mr. Twine takes on a DWI

cases with a high level of detail and scrutiny.  He also understands the judicial process from his time

working for Williamson County under a County Court at Law Judge, and utilizes that experience to help

you navigate the criminal justice system. If you have been accused of DWI, do not hesitate, call James

Twine to help you fight for your drivers license and your liberty.  Information is the key to a successful

defense in DWI.
